Staff at Advanced Child Behavior Solutions (ACBS) share our company values of delivering high quality behavior analytic services that are ethical, compassionate, fun, and inspiring. From interviewing and hiring to training and on-going service delivery, we ensure that our staff are well qualified and supported to work one-on-one with young children. We offer employment opportunities year-round for those interested in a position as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and coordinate in-house training that exceeds national and state requirements for eligibility for the RBT credential. Our Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (LBAs/BCBAs) have educational and training experiences that extend far beyond minimum requirements necessary for certification, as we are committed to employing only the most well-trained and compassionate individuals to provide behavior analytic services to children.

Potential Applicants
RBTs
The RBT is one of the most important roles in our home-based one-on-one treatment. RBTs, under the supervision of a BCBA, provide many of the treatment hours to our clients through a tiered service delivery model. In this model, the RBT delivers treatment protocols designed by the behavior analyst. Potential RBTs need to be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma, pass FBI background checks, and be willing to give a minimum of a year commitment. Applicants do NOT have to possess an RBT credential to apply for a position, as we provide extensive training to each employee.
Many of our staff members who fill the RBT role are undergraduate students. Some may have recently graduated from high school and are getting started on accumulating applied experience throughout their college careers. Others may be approaching the end of their university experience and wish to build their undergraduate resumes and curriculum vitae prior to applying for jobs or graduate school. While a one-year commitment is a minimum for working in the RBT position at ACBS, many of our RBTs have been with us for much longer. For those staff who have left us due to graduation from college, they have gone on to be competitive for top tier graduate programs in behavior analysis, clinical psychology, education, special education, social work, and speech and language pathology and audiology. For others, they found gainful employment in a variety of positions where they continue to make valuable contributions to the community. All RBTs, whether students or not, are committed to making meaningful differences in the lives of children.
Because we build a culture of collaboration and respect with quality training and field experience opportunities, our employees learn a great deal about how to interact with children, parents, and other professionals and are able to create positive changes in the lives of children. From time to time, we also develop opportunities to share our customized clinical interventions at professional conferences. These experiences allow our staff to build a well-rounded clinical approach, one that is informed by, and contributes to, behavior analysis as a field.
BCaBAs/BCBAs
We take great pride knowing that the behavior analysts at ACBS are among the best in the industry. Our shared values that start with quality ABA service delivery begin with our strong foundation of BCBAs that create a culture of integrity, fun, collaboration, and inspiration for each other, for our RBTs, and for the children and families of whom we provide services to. For more information about current openings for BCBAs or BCaBAs, please contact us.
Quality Training Experiences
Our exceptional service delivery begins with a strong training foundation. While the minimum requirement for training for the RBT credential is 40 hours, ACBS provides the required 40 hours in-person using classroom-based training hours that includes lecture, discussion, and role play. Additionally, we provide approximately 10 hours to include crisis prevention and de-escalation as well as 30 hours of client-specific training on each child’s customized behavior acquisition and reduction curriculum in the patient’s home. All of our staff pass on-going competency assessments and receive recurrent supplemental training and frequent supervision for the entirety of their employment. Because we want our employees to take their educational training opportunities seriously, we pay for all training hours acquired.
Being Part of Our Team-Exceptional ABA Services
Our value of providing truly individualized behavior analytic services of unmatched quality in the Northern Nevada region is shared by our BCBAs and RBTs. Our curriculum and interventions are tailored by our BCBAs for each individual child’s needs and considers home, family, and school dynamics for optimal implementation and success. We do not use a standard “one size fits all” approach to treatment. Because of our true customization, we take care to provide ample child-specific training and on-going supervision to ensure quality at the highest level. We exceed national and state minimum requirements for RBT and case supervision.
